Last year Suffolk Marine Anglers held their 7th annual spring striped bass tournament benefiting Hospice Care Network. 52 boats, 162 anglers competed for over $20,000 dollars in cash and prizes. It's no secret that the spring striped bass fishing in the Fire Island area has been world class. This season is setting up to be the same.
June 5th, 2016 will be Suffolk Marine Anglers 8th year holding this prestigious tournament. Miller's Ale House a major sponsor, will be at the Babylon Village dock serving up free food for spectators and participants. Miller's Ale House will also be hosting the captains meeting at their Deer Park restaurant on Thursday June 2nd 7:30 pm. A live auction and a Chinese auction will be held at the captain's meeting with prizes ranging from a Costa Rica getaway to custom fishing tackle.
The competition is limited to 75 boats so enter before it's too late.
