Suffolk Marine Anglers is excited to announce that radio station WBAB will be supporting our spring striped bass tournament as we raise money for Hospice Care Network's child bereavement program. WBAB will be down at the Babylon Village dock on June 5th, 2016 for all of the festivities and fish weigh in. WBAB has also invited a club representative and Mary Gravina of Hospice Care Network to appear on their public affairs program.

Dick Kissel AKA the King of FlounderRetired Lindenhurst science teacher and western Great South Bay fishing expert Dick Kissel gave an animated lecture on flounder fishing. Dick had the well attend meeting laughing and learning at the same time with his wit. Two of his former students Jeff Butta and Ken Tronti presented Dick Kissel with a king of flounder award which he is also refereed to around these parts. Another great guest at our club's meeting.  |
