As Scott Motto and Bergen Bay Dock always supports our club I personally ask that We as members Support His effort at getting us out on the water for a day of fun. Fishing and fighting Hunger.
We hope you are all well and safe during these challenging times. Suffolk Marine is open for business, including the tackle shop. The shop is currently allowing a limited number of customers inside - hopefully that will change soon. There is a buzzer outside the door which can be used to alert to staff of your arrival. The phone number to the tackle shop is 631-669-2222.
The May Club Meeting has been canceled; no decision yet regarding the June meeting. The derbies have not been canceled, and the tackle shop is available for weigh-ins.
Sadly, we have decided to cancel the Spring Tournament, but we are considering a members only BBQ. Please leave feedback regarding that option.
Finally, at our last meeting, Jim Glimore from the DEC showed us the official smartphone app from NYS. In typical government fashion, the regs on the app are not updated for 2020 (currently reflect last year's regs). I wonder what this cost us tax payers? Be safe, and get out on the water.
With the safety of our customers, employees and their families in mind we have decided to close Suffolk Marine for one week starting Monday March 23,2020 however we will most likely be closed for two weeks. We understand many of you want your boats and we are committed to our customers and getting them back in the water as soon as possible for this upcoming season. Please email or call us with any inquiries about service or sales. Our answering machine will be frequently monitored and we will get back to you within a timely fashion. Our sales team Mike & Mike are available to answer any questions and provide you with information about our boats.
